Holiday Committee Recommendations
The Holiday Committee was charged with looking at how we currently celebrate
holidays at MTU, and then recommending how the University can be more inclusive.
We concentrated on being considerate, thinking in broad terms, seeking
educational opportunities, being celebratory, and being inclusive of all
beliefs. We do not want to eliminate current holiday celebrations; rather, we
seek to expand MTU’s festivities and educational opportunities. With this in
mind, the ad hoc holiday committee makes the following recommendation.
