We hope that support for this Equity Conference will be record breaking to emphasize the importance of the work that we all do to provide quality education for all students at all transitions and levels.

The conference schedule of outstanding speakers, workshops, and presentations is now available. Locations will be added soon.


For those conference attendees who would like to sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery—"leave the driving to us."

Two chartered buses will be traveling to Houghton, MI for the 2011 Equity Within the Classroom Conference hosted by Michigan Tech. Buses will depart from lower Michigan on Sunday, March 27 and return on Tuesday, March 29. One bus will leave from the Detroit area and another from Grand Rapids at approximately 6:00 a.m. Subsequent stops will be determined but we anticipate stopping in Flint, Saginaw, Big Rapids, and Mt. Pleasant. The approximate arrival time to Michigan Tech will be 6:00 p.m.—in time for the welcome reception.
