Indian Students Association |
Established to provide for social, cultural, and fraternal relations among Indian nationals associated with Michigan Technological University; promote understanding and more and closer social friendships among Indian nationals and people of other nationalities. |
International Club |
In existence to promote better understanding and closer relations between foreign and American students, and between the various national groups of foreign students themselves by means of discussions, exchange of opinions, and cooperative activities. |
Keweenaw Pride |
Keweenaw Pride is the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Straight Ally (GLBTA) Organization of Michigan Technological University and the Keweenaw. We are a student group for GLBT people, their straight allies and friends who seek to provide a safe place for those in need of support. In terms of activism, we put on educational presentations and forums for the campus community as well as participate in national awareness events such as Coming Out Day and National Day of Silence. Additionally, we put on numerous social events throughout the year to promote a "queer positive" atmosphere on our campus. |
Korean Student Association |
Established to organize and participate in inter-cultural events and to direct social activities inbetween Korean students, professors and their families. KSA also work to let Korean culture known in the humble town of Houghton. |

Technobabe Times |
Technobabe Times is a monthly publication, as well as an active group in the community, dedicated to the empowerment of women in all aspects of technology and culture. We are also interested in promoting diversity on campus - gender and otherwise. If you are interested in writing, photography, graphic design, editing and layout, promoting awareness, activism, and making a positive influence on campus, check us out.
